Art & Photo Links
- Online Visual Artists Community Forum
- This is one of the friendliest forums on the web (in our opinion!). The aim of the forum is to help visual artists sell their work online. The forum is totally independent, so feedback and opinions are unbiased which is very important when analyzing and comparing selling sites. Members can share marketing resources, websites, and opinions, while also discovering new gallery sites, advice and solutions...it's definitely worth becoming an active member of this forum if you are serious about selling your creative work online.
ImageKind ForumA buzzing and vibrant forum for both buyers, artists and fine art print lovers at ImageKind...another must-read if you are considering making your artworks and photos available for sale online, or indeed if you want to gain an insight into the world of online art sales and marketing...swap news and views with artists and customers alike!
GreatGear This is a Yahoo group forum dedicated predominantly to CafePress shopkeepers, but they do also discuss other online selling sites like ImageKind and PrintFection. The forum is perhaps not quite as user-friendly and easy to navigate as the OVACF (discussed above), but it's worth applying to become a member as the group includes many proactive and helpful online shopkeepers, and is an excellent information resource.
Empty EaselThis is a fantastic blog for art-lovers and creators to follow. It includes daily articles and tutorials for both artists and art addicts - Dan (professional artist and creator of Empty Easel) also offers the opportunity for you to have your artwork reviewed - we suggest you take a look at his blog right now!
Barney Davey: Print Market ProfitsBarney Davey offers advice about how to sell your art, and assesses changes in the art market as they occur.
