PHOTOGRAPHERS will mainly benefit from the Fine Art Store (where customers can order a print and have it framed to their own specifications), as well as via the sales of office & paper goods (mousepads, greeting cards, calendars etc) through our Merchandise Stores, where appropriate.

The Procedure: How it works from your Application through to the Launch of your own Stores:

1. You need to apply to us by email, requesting to become a Creative Partner. We will need to see some examples of your work (low-res JPEGs at this stage would be fine, which you can send us via our Drop Box). We then decide whether we feel your work would compliment the work of our other Partners, and whether we think that a Partnership would be mutually beneficial. If we approve your Application (which is entirely at our sole discretion), we will then require you to read and agree to our Licensing Agreement, and our full Terms & Conditions (both of which will be available for download soon). Without your agreement, the Partnership cannot proceed.
2. You send us high resolution images ON DISC of all the work you want us to promote and sell on your behalf - these images must be supplied in accordance with our design specifications. (Coming Soon! Click here to download design specifications for all our products.)
At this point, we will also ask you to write a Biography which we can post online, and which is an important sales tool - customers like to know what drives you and inspires you to create. We also require short descriptions of each image, which we can use alongside your images in your personal galleries.
3. We'll do all the nitty-gritty work of uploading your images from your disc to your very own Dezine Zone Gallery, as well as to the Fine Art Store Galleries, selecting appropriate key words to help the search engines find you, and so on. We'll do all the time-consuming work of uploading these designs to our Merchandise Stores too, and fitting them onto the products.
Don't worry: the copyright to your artworks, designs and photographs remains with you, and we'll always seek your approval first if we have to 'tweak' your design to make it fit specific products.
4. We set prices for all your products according to what we believe the market can carry, and we open your Online Shops!
5. We publicize your new shops and galleries through our Newsletters and other means at our disposal. At this stage it is very important that you too help drive traffic to your site - send emails to all your contacts, tell your friends (and ask them to pass on the news!), start a blog, and whatever else you can think of to get the word out - the more people who know about your shops, the more sales you'll make!




How much does the Complete Creative Partnership cost?

There are no upfront fees at all for the Creative Partnership program. We will host your personal Galleries and Biography in The Dezine Zone completely free of charge, and you will also benefit from Dezine Design's marketing initiatives for free.

We will create Galleries and open your own personal Stores for you within our wider Wild Web Stores, at no upfront cost to you whatsoever. When we make a sale on your behalf through our stores, we will then deduct a commission fee from the sale price, and pass the balance on to you.

In other words, you pay nothing for our service until you have actually made a sale! Even then, you don't have to open your check book or find your credit card, because we simply deduct our commission from the sale price, and pass the balance of payment on to you, along with an accompanying spreadsheet recording all transactions in your stores for the relevant period, showing all sales, and detailing how our commission has been calculated. We want to keep all our financial transactions on your behalf completely open and transparent, so please don't hesitate to ask for more details/clarification at any time.

While we won't be asking for any payment up front, we DO have one thing we'd like to ask you to do (in addition to creating fabulous artworks, writing great books and taking wonderful photographs!): Tell as many people as possible about your shops and your Dezine Zone Galleries (inform your friends, start a blog, email all your contacts, shout it from the rooftops, wear our 'In The Zone' T-shirts, and whatever else you can think of!)...the more people who know about your shop, the more people who will visit...and the more people who visit, the more sales you are going to make - it's as simple as that!

The question is: Why not just start your own online store?

As for us, we believe that the key to successful online selling is driving as much traffic to your site as possible, and having as wide a product range as possible, which gives you a greater chance of "catching" a browsing customer. It's not easy to generate a lot of traffic on your site - after all, we are all competing against billions of other sites. Joining forces with other talented artists, writers and photographers increases your chances of success, by allowing you to cast your net much wider and to benefit from "cross-fertilization" - when customers land anywhere on our site, even if they are initially looking at someone else's work, they could end up looking at your pages and buying your products.

What we're saying is that by banding together, we are increasing everyone's chances of attracting traffic and making sales - we can bounce off each other to everyone's mutual benefit....as we keep saying: "Together we stand, divided we fall".
