What is an Affiliate Program?

Affiliate Programs (sometimes also called 'Referral' or 'Associate' programs) provide a system whereby webmasters (or bloggers) refer their readers via links on their website/blog to an online shop. If those readers then make a purchase from that shop, the referring webmaster/blogger receives a commission on the sale. It's a great way to earn money from your blog or website, without having to do much work! For example, you can earn money by referring shoppers to our Wild Web Store: every time someone you referred makes a purchase, you earn a percentage of that sale. It's that easy!

Who is Eligible?

If you have a website, blog, email, MySpace profile, or even if you frequent forums with a signature file (check forum guidelines for permission) you can sign up to be a Dezine Design affiliate. As long as you have somewhere to put customized links and you have traffic coming in, you can start earning a commission on every sale that you send to either (or both) of our stores. You can choose to become an affiliate of our Wild Web Store (via the Cafepress Affiliate Program which is run by Commission Junction) or our Fine Art Store (via the ShareASale Affiliate Program)...Both of these will cost you nothing - you just need to apply for an Affiliate Account with the relevant program (which is quick & easy), and spend a little time setting up your webspace with our customized banners or text links.

1. The Wild Web Store Affiliate Program

If you are already a CafePress affiliate, you will know that Commission Junction now manages the CafePress affiliate program. We have updated our banners and text links to reflect the new affiliate system - instead of inserting your CafePress PID number into the code, you now need to insert your Commission Junction PID number.

Want to become a Wild Web Store Affiliate? Great! This is what you do:

STEP ONE: SIGN UP - You have to sign up to The Affiliate Program, which is run by Commission Junction on behalf of CafePress. Please click the link below and follow the instructions.

After signing up, you will be assigned a PID number. The PID is used to track your links and to make sure that you get credit for all of the sales that you refer to the Wild Web Store.

STEP TWO: GET LINKS & ADD BANNERS AND/OR TEXT LINKS TO YOUR WEB SPACE - Now that you're signed up and you have been assigned an affiliate PID number, you can start creating links. Your PID number identifies you as an affiliate and credits you with your commission from the sale of our products from any of your referrals.

Below, you will see some banner and button images we have created for your personal & business use. Please feel free to use them when linking to our products or shop. (When your reader clicks on the banner or button, they will be sent direct to our store - and if they make a purchase, you make money from it!) We've given you a wide selection of banners to choose from, so you can select which one(s) fit in well with your website/blog, and will appeal to your readership. Below each banner is the HTML code for that link: just copy and paste the code into your pages.

Wherever you see "PID", you need to insert your Comission Junction PID number in place of the "PID". If you do not do this, your referrals cannot be tracked and you will not be credited with any commission for those sales - so please take care to copy and paste our HTML code exactly, and to add your PID number to ensure you receive all your earnings!

You can always create your own links as well. Once you've seen a few examples, you'll see how easy it is to set up links with any images found in our Wild Web Store.

In order to become an affiliate of our Fine Art Store, you need to sign up with ShareASale, who handle all ImageKind affiliates (ImageKind host our Fine Art Store). Once you have signed up with ShareASale and registered there as an ImageKind Affiliate, click on 'Create A Custom Link To A Page'(under 'Get Links' at the top of the ShareASale web page), and under "Destination URL" type in dezinezone.imagekind.com to create a link directly to our Fine Art & Photography Gallery - and start making money with referrals as soon as possible!
